About the Author

Geordie grew up in Nova Scotia on the east coast of Canada.
Heavily involved in theatre from a young age, first as an actor,
he would be writing and directing his own plays by fifteen;
travelling theatre festivals and winning awards.
Once graduated he studied english and philosophy two years
before dropping out of university to pursue being a filmmaker.
He moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, when he was twenty.
After graduating from Vancouver Film School, he was hired to
direct his first short film, a Story Hive web series pilot,
and a production of Sexual Perversity in Chicago
at the Havana Club Theatre.
Geordie has since directed commercials,
music videos, and ten short films.
He’s eager to direct one of his many
feature film projects he has written;
enthusiastic about being a Canadian voice,
telling Canadian stories.
